Tax and Compliance Manager

Job Description Tax and Compliance Manager AED 35,000 – 38,000 Dubai We are recruiting a Tax and Compliance Manager with GCC Tax experience for a Multinational Professional Service based organisation. This is a critical role within the business and one that will work closely with the Global US HQ and local regional offices. Responsibilities: • Responsible for facilitating the preparation and review of multiple tax returns (withholding tax, VAT, corporate income) across different geographies (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon) • Work with the organisations clients to obtain withholding tax certificates for amounts withheld, requesting for the necessary tax credit from the tax authorities • Manage the advance tax payment process and work closely with the local treasury team • Assists in tax audit processes as needed in close cooperation with the Finance Director and the Global Tax Team • Continuously work on identification of tax opportunities and avoidance of tax risks in personal tax, wage taxes, withholding tax, corporate tax and VAT • Responsible for the completion of the Tax Provision Packages which reconciles local tax to US GAAP tax • Ensure compliance with local transfer pricing requirements by facilitating the preparation and review of entity local file, disclosure forms, affidavit report, Country by Country and reporting notification with support from external advisors Requirements: • University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent through experience • CPA and/or MBA equivalent desired • Experience working in Big 4 environment desired • Must be a problem solver and subject matter expert with excellent communications skills • Experience leading the tax function in the Middle East for a large Professional Service based MNC Thank you for your interest.
