Product Trader

Job Description Develop and execute profitable trading opportunities across refined petroleum products with focus on flows within Middle East. Foster and maintain a strong network of internal and external commercial relationships with traders, operators, counterparties, brokers and strategic partners. The applicant must have extensive trading experience within at least one refined product stream. While the core focused is on physical trading and asset based trading a solid knowledge of using futures and derivatives is required. Key Result Area: Negotiate terms of trade for spot and term sales and purchases of refined petroleum products and ensure all aspects of trade exposure are covered and well managed Excellent understanding of global oil markets, crude or product flows, freight, refining, oil pricing and valuation Ability to analyze market data and identify commercial opportunities. Experience or expertise in managing storage locations. Demonstrate strong understanding of logistics and interplays with international trade flows. Understanding and management of blending is a strong plus. Identify, execute and manage arbitrage, blending and storage opportunities. Demonstrate a track record of trading futures, swaps and understanding of derivative markets for hedging and exposure management. Ensure all trading activities are conducted within appropriate authority limits, risk controls and internal trading guidelines. Liaising closely with back office and trade finance ensure accurate and timely trade capture, position matching and mark to market Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships within the industry and ability to develop new business relationships and capture new opportunities
