Project Manager – IT Infrastructure

Job Description • Very strong background and extensive experience of Infrastructure Transformation programs • Expert in Data Centre, Compute, Storage, Virtualization & IT Networks The above2 requirements are mandatory. Candidates without this experience need not apply as they will not be considered. • Understanding the purpose and objectives of the program • Gather detailed requirements incoordination with various stakeholders •Ability to plan effectively to detailed task level• Adopting to accelerated delivery using agile methodologies, where feasible. • Ensure project delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints • Very strong reporting skills • Producing the deliverables/products to agreed specifications • Track key project deliverables/products. • Coordinate with various Technology teams and ensure on time project delivery • Identifying and actively managing issues and risks associated with the project • Ensure successful and effective communication •Coordinate with various vendors for hardware delivery and installation • Ensure Vendor deliveries are on time • Banking experience preferred but not mandatory KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Knowledge & Experience: • Good understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, with 15+ years of experience in Project and Program Management. • Strong understanding of managing Infrastructure Transformation programs. • Proficient in MSOffice packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vision and Project) • Good experience of working in matrix organization Skills: • Strong technical knowledge on IT infrastructure concepts • Excellent communication (verbal& written) and documentation skills •Strong reporting and communication skills. •Certifications such as PMP would be an added advantage
