A fully qualified and experienced Pet Groomer who has the ability to deliver the very highest standard of pet grooming. A groomer should handle dogs firmly but gently. Must have extensive knowledge of animal healthcare issues and an in-depth understanding of different pet breeds. Possessing superb communication skills means to be able to build lasting relationships with new and existing customers by offering them a friendly, personal and professional grooming service. •Able to calm and control nervous dogs and cats. •Shampooing and drying out a dog’s and cat’s coat. •Can handle the pressure of a busy environment where there is lots of noise. •Assisting with the training and development of other salon colleagues. •Excellent Administration skills with a high level of attention to detail. •Positive, confident and friendly manner with a high level of integrity. •Excellent scissoring skills. •Knowledgeable with grooming equipment and tools.
