Network Engineer

Job Description • Bachelor degree • CCNA, CCNP, CCVP or equivalent certificate.Exp: 3 – 5 years’ • Performs any and all activities associated with the network infrastructure and telecommunications services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to switches, routers, gateways, Internet connectivity, VoIP, wireless and appropriate management tools • Intermediate knowledge of routing and switching technologies, configurations & network protocols • Intermediate understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, steps, and tools • Intermediate Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques, problem resolution standards and problem analysis procedures • Intermediate knowledge of local and wide area network connectivity •Experience with ITIL concepts, Incident, Problem and Change Management. • Understanding of Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure compliance with provisioned policies • Understanding of security policies, procedures and standards to promote consistency of security products and services • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. • Understanding of various monitoring, and management tools
