Warehouse Coordinator
Job Description
Job Description We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to undertake a variety of tasks relating to ensuring of loading and unloading of deliveries, preparing of inventory for shipping and distribution among various others. The role also involves maintaining safety standards & maintaining of inventory records. • Scheduling and organizing deliveries. • Coordinating loading and offloading of deliveries. • Taking records of inventories. Making sure that the ware house is stocked. • Ensuring that inventory is packed for safe shipping. • Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting. • Manage documentation associated with shipping processes • Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert supervisors if a delay occurs or is likely. • Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues. • Ensure that safety practices and policies are followed at all times for their own safety and the safety of others who may be coming into or going out of the warehouse. • Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets. • Direct the work of warehouse personnel and oversee all associated activities • Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area. • Follow up & control daily absence and over time. • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities. • Self-starter yet able to take orders as directed. • Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporate. • Planning, organizing and controlling of Warehouse over-all operations. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements • Requires a High School Diploma, Degree or Equivalent. • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting or Logistics field. • Strong knowledge of inventory management. Computer literate with knowledge of inventory management software. • Outstanding leadership skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook,) • Excellent oral and written communication skills up and down organizational structure and follow up skills. • Excellent people and process management skills. • Proficient in languages English & Hindi. • SAP knowledge an added advantage
