Specification Executive

Job Description The ideal candidate will be an Arabic national with relevant experience in specifying for projects for the paint or related industries . The key responsibilities include but not limited to; Responsibilities • Studying & interpreting project specifications & schedules • Preparing compliance statement and submittals as per project requirement • Pricing and preparing quotations as per Specification and BOQ received for assigned products • Correspond with principles for technical clarifications, compliance and submittals • Conducting technical seminars for new product launch • Introduce Caparol Paints brand to the specification community (Architects, Interior Designers & Decorators, Specifiers, Fit out agencies) and subsequently get approved in projects handled by them • Introduce Caparol Paints to the relevant Government, Federal & Municipal authorities across the UAE • Source and gather information about upcoming projects (market mapping) and take actions to get Caparol Paints specified with the identified prospects • Assist sales team to close sales opportunities as well as generate new business opportunities • Developing new innovate green and sustainable products based on the market needs • Attending exhibitions & meetings held for construction business to maintain a good relation with key clients • Conduct market research and audit with respect to competitors, their range, product features, advantages, price bandwidths, certifications, etc. • Providing necessary technical support to the Sales Engineers • Conduct seminars, presentations (techno-commercial) & paint application demonstrations to the target audience on a regular basis. • Identify appropriate Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, Seminars & Conferences and either attend (for upgrading knowledge and information) or organizing and ensure effective execution • Develop & update databases separately for Specifiers community, Projects approved, Project under approval, Projects completed on a regular basis • Managing client relationships & maintaining their expectations Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in specification as consultant • Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) • Should have experience in product tendering and system tendering • Require good experience in bid, proposal and tendering • Should be able to work with other departments • Require good communication and presentation skills
