Specialist Dermatologist

Job Responsibilities: Dermatologist who provides specialized services to patients for the diagnosis and management of diseases of the skin and appendages. To perform the professional duties of a Dermatologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended by the Head of Internal Medicine and approved by the Credential Committee. To perform his duties in the Dermatology out-patient clinic evaluating patients with skin diseases on a daily basis which accounts for 90% of his time Provides consultation service to in-patients in his area of expertise (dermatology).Admit to the hospital patients with skin diseases requiring in-patient services and assume their care. Provides on-call emergency coverage for dermatologic emergencies. Performs the dermatologic procedures e.g. PUVA therapy, skin biopsy, cryosurgery, excision, etc. Participates in committees as needed. Participates in the monthly staff meeting of the internal medicine department. Performs other applicable tasks assigned within the scope of his / her work and the level of his/her competence as required by the Hospital Management. Job Requirements: Master (MD) Degree in Dermatology. Must hold a current valid license of Specialist issued by ministry of health in United Arab Emirates. At least four (4) years of experience in the field of Dermatology Proficiency both in English and Arabic is a must. Ability to express self in the areas of communication (verbal, written, non-verbal).Knowledge of computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft, etc. Demonstrates effective delegation skills and completes assignments accurately and on time Demonstrate adherence to safety and risk management policies as evidenced by in-service attendance records and employee practices.
