Job Description BSc. Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent) and with extensive experience in North American Unconventional “Shale” Plays . Must be experience in Unconventional reservoir modeling, well test planning, execution and analysis, fluid sampling and PVT analysis, production forecasting and project economics Experience with Unconventional Geoscience team (geoscientists, geomechanical engineers, petrophysicists) and geological support to the Unconventional Operations & Engineering Team as appropriate. Short Description : A Reservoir Engineer with extensive experience in North American Unconventional “Shale” Plays Description of Job Opening : The successful candidate(s) will report to the Team Leader of the Operations and Engineering Team within COMPANY’s Unconventional Department. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Reservoir Engineer will be in Unconventional reservoir modeling, well test planning, execution and analysis, fluid sampling and PVT analysis, production forecasting and project economics. The candidates must work seamlessly with Unconventional Geoscience team (geoscientists, geomechanical engineers, petrophysicists) and interface and collaborate closely with the COMPANY Onshore drilling department, who are responsible to execute all drilling, stimulation and testing activities on behave of the Unconventional Team. The candidate will be expected to utilize their experience of industry best-practices in Reservoir Engineering techniques and technologies for the maturation of Unconventional Plays. Although a mainly office-based position, they will be expected to spend time in the field specifically during the supervision of well test and sampling operations. A critical role for the Senior Reservoir Engineer will be in knowledge sharing and coaching of Emirati staff to ensure the appropriate skills and expertise are transferred and embedded within the COMPANY Unconventional team.
