Safety Officer (Chemical Industry)

• • The Safety Officer is in-charge of SHE function.
  • Review existing policies and practices and recommend necessary changes if required
  • Drive EHS / IMS related KPIs
  • Be Management Representative (MR) for all ISO related requirements
  • Critically review all current policies and practices and ensure full implementation across the organization. The company holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
  • Familiarity with EHS / regulatory requirements in a Chemical Plant
  • Plant maintenance (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) experience will be an added advantage.
  • Permit to Work / Bow Tie Concepts / Fire Safety / Handling and Storage practices of hazardous Chemicals / HAZOP/ Risk Assessment
  • Should be able to review existing policies and practices and recommend necessary changes if required.

• • plus Diploma in Industrial Safety/ Fire Safety
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in chemical industry
  • Candidates with no dependent in UAE (Bachelor Status); required to stay in company accommodation only.
