Mechanical Engineers

Description Installation of equipments with proper alignment procedure.Liasing with contractors and suppliers.Creating and carrying out test procedures ensuring that equipment works to its specification. To carry out cold trials and commissioning of equipment in consultation with OEM.Ensure plant equipments are in good condition and properly working.Ensure effective time and manpower management and improve machine availability.Ensure that all the instruments in the Mechanical Section requiring scheduled calibration are properly calibrated.Ensure minimum material wastage, and control the maintenance costs.Prepare and outline the activities of the Mechanical Section and coordinate.Maintain the mechanical log book and equipment history.Ensure that all records of the Mechanical Section are properly kept and maintained.Participate in the evaluation and troubleshooting of problems in the line.Monitor the mechanical technicians & fitter do their jobs and discuss with them any unsafe practices which have potential effects on them, in the equipment, or in the finished products.Implement and maintain proper guidelines as to safety, safekeeping, and cleanliness to subordinates.Ensure that all the Mechanical personnel have the required resources and information necessary in executing their assigned work.Improve the skills of the subordinates, and provide a positive motivation towards work amongst them.Participate in the development of over-all department plans and programs.Responsible for the continual improvement of plant, Quality and Integrated Management System.Keep and maintain a healthy environment.Perform other duties assigned by immediate superior when deemed necessary.Comply and adhere to the company rules and Quality Policy.Communicates employee feedback on the Sustainability Policy.Trains and communicates pertinent SOPs to the employees of their respect Requirements Must have a degree / diploma in relevant Engineering course.Must have a thorough understanding on the equipment maintenance.Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams.
