Job Description We are looking for a Book Keeper who can maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts posting transactions ensure legal requirements compliance to manage our Accounting functions in our Accounts department The resource will also be responsible for below duties Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts defining bookkeeping policies and procedures Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book suppliers ledger customer ledger and general ledger Bringing the books to the trial balance stage Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying allocating and posting transactions Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts posting transactions ensure legal requirements compliance Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance reconciling entries Maintains historical records by filing documents Prepares financial reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing account information and trends Complies with federal state and local legal requirements by studying requirements enforcing adherence to requirements filing reports advising management on needed actions Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book suppliers ledger customer ledger and general ledger Bringing the books to the trial balance stage Requirements B Com or equivalent degree At least 5 years working experience in SAP At least 5 years prior experience in Manufacturing industry Proficiency in English and computer literate Proven bookkeeping experience Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable receivable principles Proven ability to calculate post and manage accounting figures and financial records Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers More Information Experience Level Senior Total Years Experience 5 Minimum Education Diploma Gender Any Gender
