Auto Technician (Heavy Vehicles) (TO-79D9F)

Responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all site repairing and maintaining technical equipment/vehicles that includes a good working knowledge in auto mechanics and/or high and heavy vehicles, as well as the ability for practical work applications required. With working emphasis on Health and Safety, Environmental Control and International Standard Organisation (ISO) practices. Ensuring all actions, maintenance or productions are completed in accordance with Managers / Customers / Manufacturer’s instructions. On the Job Training will be provided for growth and direction. Key Responsibilities: 1/ Assist in the movement, washing, cleaning and preparation of vehicles in the PDC. 2/ Assist on any other task associated with the equipment as directed. 3/ General cleaning and labour related tasks. 4/ Assist in the upgrade and modification of existing systems as per Original Equipment Manufacturers(OEM) instructions. 5/ Carry out paint preparation, minor body work and painting. 6/ Assist in Material Handling Equipment operations. 7/ Responsible for ensuring safety and environmental issues are observed by other employees. 8/ Ensure that the values of the company are adhered to. 9/ Assist in inventory, stock checks and logistical tasks. 10/ Ensure all company policies and procedures, work instructions and notices are adhered to. 11/ Ensure that all timesheets and associated paperwork in filled in correctly. 12/ Assist in Mechanical Assembly and Disassembly work under guidance. 13/ Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications: Good English communication skills including, reading, writing and speech. Have a UAE MHE drivers license / permit (manual ) Previous experience working in a similiar environment. At least two years exposure to Maintenance, Logistics, Product Distribution or similiar experience. (Desirable) Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions. (Desirable) Be able to provide proof of previous employment with good conduct. Satisfactory school or college certificates with acceptable grades
